John Clayton

Managing Director/Producer

John is a Burtonian born businessman and has grown up through the history of film and broadcast from 16mm through to the digital age. John’s career has been in broadcast news and sport, and he is still on the books of major British and international broadcasters, as well as The Football Association, covering all levels, from Conference to Premiership games.

He also runs his own successful TV production company, which specialises in documentaries.

Eric Reynolds

Chairman

Eric is well known in the Burton business arena, an entrepreneur and all things Burton. His wealth of Experience in the film and video industry stem back to his childhood, when as a young lad, he became familiar with the 16mm film unit his father had. Eric progressed into running his own mobile cinema and moved into retailing professional and domestic video equipment. Eric still runs his own business in High Street Burton (Eric Reynolds Music Centre.)

In joining BtvN, Eric has returned to his roots so to speak, and sits well at the helm of the BtvN Team.

 


Glenys Cooper

Financial Director

Glenys has been a Director of a TV News company for over eight years. She is a documentary film maker and editor, specialising in local history. Glenys brings a wealth of knowledge to BtvN.

Glenys also is the driving force behind the on-site book shop, and has been in the book trade for many years.

Hobbies include: Cycling, Reading, History.., and the Banjo!


Dave Child

Director/Sports Editor

Dave has worked throughout the UK for radio & television for broadcasters such as Radio Trent, Gem, Leicester Sound, and also West Country Television, Devon Air, Plymouth Sound and Gemini Radio. Reporting on all kinds of sporting events, but specialising as a professional football commentator and reporter.

Alex Ferguson, Brian Clough and Sir Bobby Robson are among the list of prominent sporting personalities he has had the pleasure to interview in his time.

For many years, Dave has also worked as a compere at sporting dinners, which was another opportunity to meet and work along side some of sports living legends


Richard Stone

Executive Director/Presenter

Richard Stone worked as a civil servant and management consultant before taking up writing and now indulges a lifelong interest in history and the countryside as a freelance writer and broadcaster.

Books include Moats, Boats and other notes (1999), Hidden Derbyshire (2001), A Stone's Throw of Burton (2002), Tamworth: A History (2003), Burton upon Trent: A History (2004), The River Trent (2005), Rich Pickings (2007), The Collieries and Coalminers of Staffordshire (2007), Exploring History in and around Derbyshire (2009), and Buildings in Derbyshire: A Guide (2011).

 


Shameena Kauser

Executive Director & Studio Manager

Shameena came into Media Production in 2009. Coming from a science background, she went to Staffs University to Study a foundation Degree in Digital Media Production. After graduating, in September 2010, she was invited to be involved in Project Wired @ The Brewhouse, where she showcased her first films on Burton History.

After being spotted by John Clayton of BTVN, Shameena is now Studio Manager @ BTVN Main Production Base


Jonathan Buglass

Technical Director

Jonathan has been in the Television Industry for the past decade, working in areas as diverse as Direct Selling, Live Event Coverage and Local News.

He is currently juggling his busy work schedule to bring the BTVN website to you, the public
